We are now utlizing the new DIBS system to run our volunteer opportunities. To get started, please do the following:
STEP 1: CLICK HERE to activate your Volunteer account. (Remember, only one registration per family.) This activation prepares your TST Account to become a user of the Volunteer Tool. This activation is required of all volunteers. If you do not currently have an account on the website you will be required to create an account first.
STEP 2: CLICK HERE to start choosing opportunities that RLS WEST has available for you to sign up for!
How to view "claimed" DIB items? If you sign up for an opportunity online and can't remember the information, simply log on with your username and password (located in the upper left hand corner of the screen) and click on "Tools" (located in the upper left hand corner of the screen next to username) or CLICK HERE.
What to do if you selected a duty to work and you can't make it? Log in with your username and password (located in the upper left hand corner of the screen) and then click on "Tools" (which is also located in the upper left hand corner of the screen next to your name). Select the duty you want to cancel and click on "cancel claim". You have 3-5 days to cancel before a shift. Once you've cancelled the duty, this will then be put back into the pool of volunteer opportunities.
When selecting an item to work, simply "claim" the item. You do not need to select "complete" after selecting the item.
What to do after you have worked the shift? After you have completed the assigned duty, you may view your DIB items by entering your username and password (located in the upper left hand corner of the screen) and then click on tools (which is also located in the upper left hand corner of the screen) next to your name. You can then click on the text that is in the DIB ITEM column (for example, concessions). Then that will load up a new screen that will give you the option to select "verify completion". Once you have selected the "verify completion", you will get a message that states your request has been sent and will then be completed by the Volunteer Coordinator Team. Be sure to fill out the volunteer card and have it signed by a board member, team manager or head coach. (The same as last year.) Your hours worked will be verified by the signed cards.
